Growing Spaces New Website
Our New Growing Spaces Website Is Live
We’ve launched a refreshed Growing Spaces website. Whether you've been with us for years or just found us, I wanted to walk you through what changed and why.
Growing Spaces aims to be more than a manufacturer of greenhouse kits. We want to be a trusted long-term resource for people who are exploring year-round growing, choosing a structure, and learning how to get the most from it over time. The new website reflects that direction. It is one of the first visible improvements in a broader effort to make Growing Spaces easier to navigate, more helpful to use, and better equipped to support customers at every stage.
Our team has been hard at work on this for over a year, always with customers front of mind. We asked: when someone is trying to make a confident decision, what do they need? How do we serve people who love to explore on their own, without losing the "pick up the phone and talk to us" experience that sets us apart from larger greenhouse brands?
Here is what is better now, and why I think you'll enjoy it.
What’s improved
1. Find what you need faster, wherever you start
Most people do not begin on the homepage. They land on a guide, an article, a product page, or an older link from an email or a friend.
Over time, we've built a lot of helpful content. The downside was that even when the answer existed, it was not always easy to find from the page you were on.
You will see this most clearly in our Greenhouse Guide, comparison tables, FAQ, and blog navigation. Things are easier to scan, easier to compare, and easier to use as a starting point for deeper research. The navigation menus at the top of every page are better organized to help you find what you want.
Note: If you have saved older links or bookmarks, we are taking care that they lead to the same page if it exists, or at minimum, somewhere similar and useful. Let us know if you end up on an error page that says "oops!"
2. Better search across the whole ecosystem
One of the biggest upgrades is also the simplest: search now works across our website, our blog, and our store.
Often, real and relevant questions do not fit neatly into "blog" or "shop." You might be researching snow and wind performance, then jump to ventilation options, then want a specific accessory or replacement part. You should not have to guess where we put something. There are years of content, and we all know what "searching" on the internet should feel like. Now, searching our site does too.
You can type what you are wondering and jump straight to the right page or product. If you want a quick test, try searching for:
- winter vegetables
- ventilation
- pond
- hummus recipe
3. Support your way: self-serve when you want, people when you need them
Growing Spaces has always been a greenhouse company that you can reach on the phone. That is not changing, not even a little.
If you pick up the phone, send an email, or ask for a person, you will still connect with real humans who care about getting you to the right outcome. For many customers, that relationship is part of the reason they choose us.
At the same time, we know some people prefer to explore quietly, especially early in the research process. They want to read, compare, and make sense of options on their own schedule. We want to serve those people well, too.
That is why we are introducing a new automated chatbot with this launch. It is specific to Growing Spaces information, including the website, documentation, and general greenhouse and gardening knowledge from our blog. You’ll find it behind the quote bubble icon in the bottom right corner of most pages.
Note: If you are trying the chat and want a human, just say so, and it can route a message to our team to get back to you. (You can always email or call us; contact information is publicly posted on our contact page.
4. Owner resources that just work for verified owners
If you already own a Growing Dome, you should not have to dig around for manuals, maintenance resources, or the next right step.
Verified owners can now log in and access owner resources directly. We have also brought forward owner documentation from the old site, so those materials are available and easier to navigate. We are always listening and making improvements to our instructions for ease of use and understanding. If something doesn't make sense, let us know.
This area is more than a convenience. It is the foundation for future "insider" resources that help owners thrive. You’ll also be able to find past orders placed through our online store. Stay tuned as we figure out how to deliver more value to dome owners.
A note on how access works: the new owner area is tied to your email address rather than a universal password. When you log in with the email associated with your purchase, you'll see resources specific to your dome size. If you own multiple sizes, each one appears separately. If you're not seeing what you expect, it's usually one of two things: the email you're logging in with doesn't match what we have on file, or we haven't linked your purchase to your email address correctly. Either way, it's a quick fix on our end. Just reach out, and we can sort it in minutes. For spouses, contractors, or friendly neighbors, we can add them as associated contacts and get them access the same way.
Dome Owners, feel free to try your login here: https://growingspaces.com/account/
If you own a dome but don't see a "Documents" tab after logging in, let us know, and we'll make sure we track down the issue as soon as possible.
5. More transparency and more control over your data and preferences
We want Growing Spaces technology to feel as trustworthy and as straightforward as our people.
You will find an updated privacy policy and improved email preference options, so you can better understand how we communicate and choose what you receive.
This is about transparency and control. You should be able to see what is happening and make changes without Growing Spaces making it unnecessarily difficult.
What’s coming next
This new site is not the finish line (though the Growing Spaces office team does need a break). It is a better foundation for ongoing support, tools, and product improvements.
On the website side, we are building toward practical calculators that help you plan with confidence, based on your climate and your dome size. Examples include heating and cooling calculators based on local conditions and dome size, and lighting calculators based on latitude and typical cloud cover. These are the kinds of tools that can save time, reduce guesswork, and help you fine-tune a dome to your reality.
Beyond the website, we are still investing in the dome experience itself. That includes research toward a sizable, scalable greenhouse option, along with grow light, heating, and cooling packages designed specifically for domes. We are also continuing to push on long-term reliability, so components and systems hold up year after year.
Whether you are researching your first dome or caring for one you have owned for years, we hope this new site makes it easier to find what you need and easier to trust Growing Spaces. Explore what is new, try the tools, and reach out if you need help finding the next right step. We are glad you are here, and we look forward to building what comes next.
Consider signing up for our newsletter for future updates. We only send 1-2 emails a month and work hard to make sure it's interesting, timely, and useful.
Happy Growing.

Gary Hall owns and runs Growing Spaces, the Pagosa Springs, Colorado manufacturer that has designed and built geodesic Growing Dome greenhouses for 35+ years, with more than 2,000 installations across 50 states and 14 countries. His daily work puts him inside domes and on install sites: he tours the six domes on the company's campus, walks the production floor, works with customers on climate-specific configuration, and talks through long-term operation with owners who have lived with the product for decades. Gary writes from that first-hand vantage about passive-solar greenhouse design, the engineering of geodesic domes (including 115 mph wind and 120psf snow load ratings), polycarbonate glazing, thermal mass and above-ground pond systems, undersoil heat exchange, ventilation, and the realities of siting, installing, and operating a dome through its 30+ year service life. He also writes about year-round greenhouse gardening and how to adapt growing practices to a semi-controlled environment. Gary acquired Growing Spaces in April 2025. He works closely with original founder Udgar and previous owner Lem Tingley, and considers himself the current shepherd of a 35+ year product legacy. He holds the CFA charter and an undergraduate degree in the hard sciences from Oregon State University.
