Mushroom

Mushrooms grow on a different model than plants, but they fit into the Growing Dome environment beautifully: shaded corners under benches, dedicated humidity-controlled fruiting chambers, or outdoor-style logs inoculated with spawn. Dome owners are producing fresh oyster, shiitake, lion's mane, wine cap, and more from their domes, supplementing the plant harvest with a different kind of crop. Explore species selection, substrate options (logs, blocks, straw, wood chip), humidity and air circulation requirements, fruiting cycles, and recipes for fresh mushrooms across species. A different category of growing than the rest of the dome's plants, and one well worth integrating.
